Customer Impact: All AT&T APNs 

 


Required Action: User action may be required.

  • Customers who are not using configured allow lists for their Internet-facing APNs have no further action items.
  • Cisco is re-using an existing range; however, customers who are already using allowlists for their Internet-facing APNs will want to verify they are already allowing the following IP range:
    • 204.156.180.32 - 204.156.180.63


Impact on Customer Operation:

  • During this planned Maintenance Window, a manual flush of data sessions will be required.
  • With redundancy in place, any new data sessions can be re-established immediately on alternate PGW, depending on timing of device side retry mechanism. This will create a small blip in data sessions.
  • In most cases, devices will automatically reconnect or attempt to establish a new session.
  • However, depending on individual device configurations or software, some devices may require a manual restart.

 

Please note that the maintenance will take place during the times specified in British Summer Time (BST)
