What are the different order types I can request?

The following definitions outline the order types that can be requested:

New SIM Order (Active) – Order request for brand new SIM cards. They are despatched in an activated state and are ready to be used. The SIMs are added to Emport

New SIM Order (Inactive) – Order request for brand new SIM cards. They are despatched in an in-active state, usually for stock or rapid deployment purposes. The SIMs are not added to Emport.

SIM Activation – Order request to activate an inactive SIM that you currently hold in stock. The SIMs are added to Emport.

SIM Replacement – Order request to transfer the SIM number (ICCID) to a brand new SIM.  This is often used when a SIM is either lost or damaged.  The mobile number (MSISDN) often remains the same along with billing. The SIM details are updated in Emport.

SIM Termination – Order request to terminate a SIM number (ICCID).  Once completed the SIM will no longer be able to connect and billing will cease. Once termination is complete it cannot be reversed. SIMs remain in Emport in the 'Terminated' status.

Tariff Upgrade - Order request to upgrade an existing SIM with a new tariff. Tariff upgrades take affect from the first day of the next month.

Inbound Migration - Order request to transfer a SIM or estate of SIMs from an third party to your account with Arkessa.  Once complete the SIM(s) will be under Arkessa management.

Outbound Migration - Order request to transfer a SIM or estate of SIMs from your account to an external party.  Once complete the SIM(s) will no longer be under Arkessa management.

Additional Services - Order request for the setup of an SSL VPN, IPSec VPN or public IP Address

Data Bundle - Order request for a data bundle to be purchased
