NEW
- Custom Fields. Admin and User users can create up to three custom fields for each customer account. A custom field can be viewed as a new column in the SIM list and viewed and updated in the SIM details page.
Note: The Info field has been removed. If you previously had a CSD number stored in the Info field, that will now appear in a dedicated CSD field. If you had any other value stored in the Info field, that value will appear in a custom field with the name Info.
- Custom field bulk upload. Values for custom fields can be uploaded in bulk using a CSV file. Each row in the file contains an ICCID number and the required value for each custom field.
- Hard Data Caps. Where a Data Cap has been set for a SIM, Admin users now have the option to terminate the data session as soon as Emport detects that the cap has been exceeded. If the operation is successful, the data session will be ended and the Last Session Duration will be recorded. (If the option is not selected, the session is allowed to continue but a new session will be prevented from starting.) This option is also available in the Bulk Actions screen, where Admin users can choose to enable or disable the capability for multiple SIMs in a single operation.
Note: This feature is only available for the following MNOs: Arkessa Connect, H3G, KPN, O2 Global and Tele2. It is also available on selected EE SIMs.
- Extended text search. The text search feature on the dashboard has been extended to search custom fields and user-entered location information (where available).
- Estate History available to View Only users. View Only Users now also have access to the Estate History report, enabling them to see up to a year's usage history.
- Terminate current session. A Terminate Session button is now available for SIMs which are currently in a data session. If successful, the session will be terminated and the Last Session Duration will be recorded.
Note: This feature is only available for the following MNOs: Arkessa Connect, H3G, KPN, O2 Global and Tele2. It is also available on selected EE SIMs.
- History of visited MNOs. The SIM accounting report now has an MNO column which shows the history of MNOs to which the SIM has roamed. This feature is limited to MNOs that publish this information.
IMPROVEMENTS
- There is now a dedicated field for CSD numbers. If you previously had a CSD number stored in the Info field, that will now appear in a dedicated CSD field. The Info field has been removed.
- The size of text allowed in the Notes field has been increased to 164 characters.
- The SIM Activity Log is now a pop-up that can be reached with a simple 'click' from SIM details page. This increases space and simplifies the SIM details page.
- Search results will no longer automatically create a quick filter. This enables us to increase the search options. Graph filters are not affected by this change and will continue to create quick filter.
- The display speed of the SIM list has been improved for large SIM estates.
TRIAL
Please note that trial features are experimental and may be changed or withdrawn without notice.
- SIM location reported by network. This trial feature shows the last known location of a SIM based on the cell tower to which it is, or was, connected. This feature is available for MNOs that report this information. The location is shown on a map on the SIM details page.
- User-entered SIM location. Admin and User users can enter the location for a SIM and a map will be displayed showing the location based on the accuracy of the detail entered. The location text will be saved regardless of whether it is a mappable address and can be viewed on the SIM list in the 'User Defined Location' column.
